Full time Camp Cook & Part time Admin Assistant Wanted

Lake Whakamaru Christian Camp is seeking energetic, ministry-minded people, (preferably a couple) who are up for the challenge of the Christian camping environment.

 The primary full-time position is as Camp Cook but may also include work in other areas of the camp during the off season.  A part-time position is available to assist in the camp office/administration. Some experience in the above areas is an advantage.

The right candidates must be organised, enthusiastic, flexible, physically fit, have tidy work habits, be personable with both staff and guests, be able to read and follow directions, be able to make adjustments with short notice and HAVE A HEART FOR SERVICE.

They must be in complete harmony with the ethos of the camp, willing to play a full and active role in the continued development of this exciting ministry.  A love and tolerance of children is essential.

Lake Whakamaru goes Green! Our new sewage system is complete. An environmentally friendly prototype, we are pleased to lead the way for this type of system which is great for our waterways and wildlife.
