Greetings from beautiful Lake Whakamaru!

Our camp is situated on Lake Whakamaru on the mighty Waikato river. Established in 1962, we have been serving campers for over 40 years! With our idyllic setting, we offer outstanding service in food, accomodation, and smiles - with many awesome activities for young and old alike to participate in.

Only 11 kilometres from State Highway One, we are centrally located - making us an ideal camp for those visiting from the North or the South. Come and stay with us for the day, weekend, or week and enjoy our facilities (see Facilities for more info on our awesome activities) or use us as a base to go visit our region's fantastic mountains, lakes, and thermal areas. Have a go at trout fishing, go for a bush walk, or spend the day skiing, it's all within easy reach from our camp.

We are ideal for school groups, church groups, rowing clubs, any water based club, family events, conferences, retreats, clubs, outdoor education and more!
